What is Jamumba?
Jamumba is two people with a deep dive problem and an obsession with products most people don't even know exist.
We kept finding things that looked genuinely interesting — obscure handhelds, off-brand accessories, tech that never makes it onto the front page of anywhere — and hitting the same wall every time. Forum speculation. Unboxing videos from people who held it for five minutes. Nobody who actually used the thing.
So we started buying them ourselves.
The lab isn't a lab. It's just us, the products, and enough time to form an honest opinion. We test until we know what we're talking about, and then we write it up. If it's good, it goes in the vault. If it's not, we tell you that too.
The verdict is always ours. Nobody pays to change it.
Everything in the shop has a review behind it. That's the only way something gets stocked. We're not a storefront that also does content — the test comes first, every time.
We hunt for products that fly under the radar. If something looks interesting and nobody's covered it honestly, that's exactly the kind of thing we order.
Real use, not spec sheets. We run each product through actual hands-on testing and document what works, what doesn't, and what surprised us.
Pass, fail, or complicated — we publish the full picture. A negative review is just as valuable as a recommendation.
Only products that pass the test make it to the shop. If it's for sale here, it earned it.
